The actors give some truly great performances
The storytelling is solid, with twists that keep you interested, and the cinematography captures the eerie atmosphere perfectly. Also, I have to point out that Mr.
Lynch’s acting felt quite depressing
Her performance came across as very one-dimensional, which unfortunately stood out as a cast of strong, nuanced characters. It’s not about race – I can think of some amazing black actresses who could have given the role more depth and complexity.
It’s certainly not perfect, but it’s worth watching
It’s just that her performance didn’t live up to the overall quality of the show, which was disappointing. Still, the show is worth watching for its story and the exceptional performances from the other cast members.
