What an entrance to the new regime at D. C. Studios. This first installment & introduction to the new D. C.
Universe is a promising & welcome sight
The story makes you care about the characters & the animation is top notch. Speaking of animation, the new "Poem of Tomorrow" the animation looked very cheap & flat, no life in the animation style or stories. D. C. AU with big stories like: “Under the Red Hood”, “Justice League: Dark”; & "Superman: Doomsday" set the standard for quality comic book animation.
The art style is fun & bright & well drawn
I collected all the animated films of that time & had no interest in Tomorrowland because of lazy writing & lazy animation art. But Creature Commandos is a return to form for quality animation. I already care about the characters & the story is interesting. James Gunn is starting this universe right & making his upcoming projects highly anticipated. The new Superman movie is definitely on my must watch list.
Check out our December calendar for more details!
Back to the show, it’s only 2 episodes in, but the anticipation & connection to the characters is there.. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
